DanTrib Membership
The Danish Tribology Association (DanTrib) brings together researchers, engineers, students, and companies with an interest in friction, wear, lubrication, contact mechanics, and surface engineering. Membership provides an opportunity to become part of Denmark’s growing tribology community, exchange knowledge and experience, establish new collaborations, and engage in scientific and industrial activities. Through seminars, workshops, networking events, and educational initiatives, DanTrib aims to strengthen the connection between academia and industry and promote the importance of tribology for innovation, sustainability, and technological development.

Membership Categories & Fees
DanTrib offers membership opportunities for individuals, students, organizations, and honorary members. The following annual membership fees were approved at the Constitutive General Assembly on 10 August 2026.
Individual Membership
1,000 DKK
Per year
For researchers, engineers, technical specialists, and professionals with an interest in tribology and related disciplines.
Student Membership
100 DKK
Per year
For students interested in tribology, mechanical engineering, materials science, surface engineering, and related scientific and technical fields.
Corporate / Institutional Membership
For companies, universities, research institutions, and other organizations seeking to engage with the Danish tribology community.
Honorary Membership
Free
0 DKK per year
For individuals recognized for outstanding contributions to tribology or to the development of the DanTrib community, subject to the association’s membership procedures.
Membership Information
DanTrib welcomes members from academia, industry, research institutions, and educational organizations. Membership supports the association’s activities, including scientific meetings, seminars, workshops, networking, and knowledge exchange.
Corporate and institutional membership is available in two categories, depending on the number of people covered by the membership. Annual fees are determined by the General Assembly in accordance with the DanTrib bylaws.
